Corona Vaccine Crisis: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a great suggestion on Tuesday about the shortage of corona vaccine, after which the supply of corona vaccine can be recovered in 15 to 20 days. Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that to increase the availability of the corona vaccine, some more pharmaceutical companies should be approved to produce it. Gadkari has made these suggestions while addressing the Vice Chancellors of universities through video conferencing. The minister said a big thing that the vaccine should be supplied first in the country, after that the vaccine should be imported.

He said that he would also urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a law should be enacted to increase the production of life-saving drugs in the country and to approve pharmaceutical companies and that the patent holder of the drug should be given 10 percent by other pharmaceutical companies. Arrangements should be made to pay royalties.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also gave advice

Explain that to overcome the shortage of Corona vaccine, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also recently wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that Kendra should give the formula of both the vaccine companies to other competent pharmaceutical manufacturers so that Vaccine production can be increased. Currently, two companies are producing anti-Corona vaccines in the country. First India Biotech which is making Kovaxin vaccine and second is Serum Institute of India which is producing Kovishield.

Kejriwal said that these two companies can be given royalty from the profits made by other companies from vaccine production. Currently only three vaccines are allowed to be used in the country - Kovaxin, Kovishield and Sputnik - V.
