Not only humans but animals also come under the grip of stress. Although stress in pets is associated with aging, their immunity, change of seasons, various other factors. Prachi Kshatriya, a veterinarian, states that the most stress sensitive organ is the heart, which not only fulfills the needs of the tissues of each body, but also acts as a support system during the pressure phase.

Doberman Pinschers, Labrador Retriever, Boxer, and German Shepherd dogs are generally more likely to have cardiovascular diseases, such as congestive cardiac failure, heart valve insufficiency, pericardial effusion, and other diseases. They say that you should not ignore the following things in your pet dog's behavior:

  •  Regular cough

  •  Exhaustion after short walking or agile activity

  •  Lying longer

  •  Loss of appetite

  •  Reluctant to climb stairs

  •  Dull appearance and sitting alone

About 10 percent of young and 65 percent of old dogs suffer from various heart related problems. Due to the negligence of the owners, they even die. However, experts recommend that you contact veterinarians immediately if you find any change in your pet's behavior or routine activities. Imaging tests such as X-rays, echocardiography, electrocardiography, etc. will confirm whether your pet is suffering from any disease, whether he has heart disease or not.
